1A. Material published by others

Many reports, fact sheets and presentations on the Library were published by government departments, research institutes, United Nations agencies, universities and non-governmental organisations. We host such material only when we own the rights, when it carries a licence that allows it, or when we have written permission. Every such publication names its original publisher, its year and its licence, on the publication page and inside the reader, and links to the original.

Where we may not host a document, we list it and send readers to the publisher's own website instead.

If you are the publisher of any material here and want it credited differently, corrected, or removed, write to library@ekrishi.in. We will act within 7 days, and faster where the request is urgent. We would rather correct a credit than lose your goodwill.

5A. Material you may download, print, present and share

Some material on the Library is free to use more widely. Where a publication shows a download or print button, you may:

• Save and print it for your own study, teaching, training or organisational work.
• Show a presentation or flipchart to a class, training group or meeting.
• Share printed copies with participants in a training you run, without charging for them.

You must, in every case:

• Keep the original publisher's name and copyright/licence notice on the material.
• Credit the source as shown in the "How to cite" box on the publication page.
• Follow any licence conditions shown on that page, including any condition that the material may not be used commercially or must be shared under the same licence.

You may not sell the material, charge for access to it, put it behind a paid wall of your own, remove the credit lines or the account footer, or present it as your own work.

Publications without a download or print button are for reading on the Library only, and this section applies to them in full.
